I'm having a hard time working out the symbolism in the McCain piece.

Palin is obvious, and I think it's safe to assume the Reaper-esque figure emerging from the shotgun in the middle of the work is Joe Lieberman. Accordingly, the gunman either Obama or Trig Palin.

McCain depicts himself engrossed in thought (regret?) in the lower right. (The tattoos are about his POW.)

Which brings us to the remainder. Why is Sen. Carl Levin (D-MI) portrayed here in Juggalo getup, overseeing McCain's life and times? Is he McCain's puppet master? Chairing the Armed Services committee is a big deal, but Senator McCain is blowing it completely out of proportion.
